I have been fortunate enough to conoe in such diverse places as Oregon, Minnesota, Massachusetts, and Florida...
My first exposure to canoeing came when I worked for Disney and we put together a team to race in the
annual employee canoe race around Tom Sawyer's Island at Disneyland.
I believe we finished second to the perennial winners, the hotel lifeguards, after we took the last turn too wide.
